HOW CAN WILDE HOUSE HELP ME?

At Wilde House, we want to make it easy for the next generation of Australian Plant Parents to get involved with gardening and bringing the outdoors in! For over 20 years, our family of propagators, horticulturalists and growers have been busy tending to the lushest, healthiest indoor plants grown in our greenhouses to be delivered direct to your home.

Plant Delivery & Packaging

WHERE DO YOU SHIP FROM?

We ship direct from our greenhouse in Ningi, Queensland.

WHERE DO YOU DELIVER?

We deliver to customers living in Queensland, New South Wales, ACT, Victoria and South Australia. Please note that if you live in a regional area, shipping costs may incur an increased charge. Unfortunately we do not ship to Tasmania, Western Australia and the Northern Territory due to Australian Quarantine Laws.

WHAT SHIPPING CARRIER DO YOU USE?

We use Aramex Couriers to transport Wilde House plants to the above listed states. Aramex Couriers know how precious houseplants are and will ensure to deliver your new leafy best frond in the safest, quickest way from our greenhouse to your home.

HOW MUCH IS SHIPPING?

We offer FREE shipping on all of our plants to customers living in central areas of Queensland, New South Wales, ACT, Victoria and South Australia - hooray! Please note that if you live in a regional area, you may incur an additional shipping cost to your order. 

HOW FAST IS YOUR DELIVERY? 

Our shipping takes 3 to 14 business days from dispatch depending where you live in Australia. We will make sure your order is fulfilled within 24 business hours of receiving it to ensure your leafy green babe is delivered safely to you as soon as possible. Orders placed over the weekend and on public holidays will be dispatched the following business day.

CAN I REQUEST A SPECIFIC DAY FOR DELIVERY?

Unfortunately we cannot guarantee the exact delivery day and time frame that the delivery will be made.

WHAT IF I AM NOT HOME TO ACCEPT DELIVERY OF MY NEW FROND?
If you're not at home when your plant is delivered, Aramex Couriers will leave your plant in a shady and safe spot. Any plants left unattended is not the responsibility of Wilde House. If you have any questions, please email us here.

CAN I SHIP TO MULTIPLE ADDRESSES?

Each order can only be shipped to a single address. Orders shipping to multiple addresses must be purchased separately.

HOW DO YOU ENSURE MY PLANTS ARRIVE FRESH AND HEALTHY?

We know how special your new plant is and we have made it our priority to create a seamless journey, from our greenhouse to your home. To ensure your new plant arrives safe and sound, we have created durable, eco-friendly and customised packaging made from 100% recycled and biodegradable materials. Each plant is packaged in individual boxes. If you have ordered the plant alone, it will be delivered in its black nursery grow pot. If you have purchased the ECOPOT with your plant, we will repot it for you and send the plant and ECOPOT in one box together so that it's room-ready for when you unpack it!

Before we ship your plant, we make sure your new leafy best frond is fed with enough slow-release fertiliser and hydrated with plenty of water which is sourced from our three onsite spring-fed dams. All water throughout our greenhouse is reticulated and we implement eco-friendly pest and weed control practices at the Wilde House greenhouse.

When we package your plant, we thoroughly fill the box and place enough natural coconut husk on top of the soil to make sure there is as little movement during transit and to retain the soils moisture. Plus, you can use the coconut husk as a decorative feature - gently loosen it once you remove the plant and husk from the box and generously place it around the top of the soil. Our nursery team uses coconut coir in the potting mix to assist with the health and vitality of the plants.

Your plant will also arrive with a welcome note. Keep an eye out for this as we have included a Wilde House QR code - simply scan the code to view our online plant care guide, it's gardening made easy! 

Returns

CAN I RETURN MY PLANT?

At this time, Wilde House does not accept returns on plants, pots and accessories. If your plant, pot or accessory has arrived damaged within 5 days of receiving the order, please email us with a supporting photo. Please read our Terms here first.

WHAT'S THE GENERAL RULE OF THUMB FOR WATERING PLANTS?

When watering your new plant, to avoid overwatering we suggest adding no more than 1/3 of the pots volume in water. Best practice is to feel the potting mix by poking your index finger a few centimetres into the soil and only water if the soil is dry. Be sure to check out our online plant care guide regarding the specifics for each species.  

WILL MY PLANT LOOK LIKE THE ONE IN THE PHOTO?

Every living houseplant is unique in its own way. Each plant has their own personality so there may be slight variations in color, shape, height etc.

WHAT ARE ECOPOTS MADE FROM?

These timeless and minimalist ECOPOTS are timeless indoor pots that are made in Amsterdam. They are crafted from 80% recycled plastics and combine stone powder that bring the balance of being lightweight and durable to your interiors.

Available in Stone and Sky,  ECOPOTS complement any Wilde House plant and Aussie home. You'll also be helping the environment as they have a life span of over a decade! We have chosen ECOPOTS as they are modern, sturdy and emphasise the natural beauty of Wilde House plants.
