Meet Bobby, our handsome and oh-so lush Boston Fern who originates from Africa, South and Central America, and Polynesia.

Bobby loves to grow anywhere that's hot, wet and not super sunny - a little shade will do the trick. Making the perfect houseplant for new plant parents, Bobby's carefree nature means he is a welcome addition to any Aussie home. To maintain Bobby's growth, the general rule of thumb is to not let a Boston Fern dry out completely. Ensure his soil is consistently moist, but not drenched and humidity is kept at a high level. Bobby also loves to be misted, we suggest misting him a few times a week or hang him in your bathroom to thrive in the warm steam. As Bobby likes to grow in moist soil, check on him weekly and water when the top few centimetres of his soil seems dry - make sure you drain off any excess water. Place Bobby in partial shade, ideally a room with lower sunlight.
